About Me

I am a trauma-informed, collaborative therapist who practices a holistic approach.  I am creative in my interventions, and get excited about my work. My goals are your goals, and one of my superpowers is figuring out how to get you where you want to be.

I begin each day by becoming fully present in my office and in my commitments to you:

*to embody warmth and connection

*to give you my full attention while making creation of safety and building of trust top priorities

*to listen to the tender and gritty things you share with compassion and an utter lack of judgment (I do, after all, believe that all behavior makes sense in context),

*to communicate valuable feedback and perspective with skill, care, and clarity, and

*to identify tangible ways for you to practice the insights you receive in session

I'm a solid 9w8 or 8w9 on the Enneagram if that means anything to you!  If it does, that tells you everything you need to know about how I hold space with care and also call you forward boldly.  In the therapy world we call that being both high invitation and high challenge.

I'm a mom to the world's most amazing human.  He serves in the United States Navy and our dog is a "Proud Navy" German Shorthaired Pointer who likes to run away onto the wooded trails and give me a heart attack at every available opportunity, but I digress.

Come see me!  Let's sit down to talk for a while and figure things out.
